I want you. I want your touch. I want your fingers through my hair and laced in between mine. I want tangled limbs getting lost under sheets. I want the warm strong embrace of your arms around me. I want the kind of stare where you lay inches away from each other but don’t make another move. I want to fall asleep in your arms. I want to wake up just as we fell asleep. I want smoke to linger in the air from our cigarettes and ash to accumulate in the tray on the nightstand next to the bed. I want to speak to you in smiles and small laughs. I want forehead kisses. I want warm sighs mid-embrace to reassure the other that “yes I like you” and “i could to stay here forever”. I want to rest my head on your chest and in your arms embrace. I want bed wrestles and messy hair gently swept out of our faces. I want to just look at you and know that you’re looking back and wanting me too.
